Eliseu u sëmur nga ajo sëmundje prej së cilës duhet të vdiste; prandaj Joasi, mbret i Izraelit, erdhi ta shohë dhe qau mbi të, duke thënë: "O ati im, o ati im, qerrja e Izraelit dhe kalorësia e tij!".
